This is my grill brush, after two years of use I got curious to see how the sponge inside is holding up. I was worried about mold. There is no mold, as you can see it is stained with grease, just like the outer shell, despite running it through the dishwasher after each use. If you’re on the fence because you’re worried about longevity, don’t be. I’m sure this would have gone two more years if I hadn’t cut it open.
I was very gung-Ho to give these gloves a try and to support this business however was totally disappointed when they arrived and found they are made in CHINA!!!🤯
I purchased the grill rescue for safety. Being in Southwest Florida I do a lot of grilling on the Komodo and the grill rescue is a great way to keep the grill clean using steam. I use the grill rescue before grilling once the grill is hot and then after grilling I clean the grill again. Switching from beef , pork, chicken and fish the grill rescue keeps the grill from transferring flavor from what I previously grilled.
They are great for handling hit grill grates, and you can pick up white hot coals with zero burn. However, don't try to pick utensil out of those coals as the back of the glove is some type of material that melts. The back of the glove is NOT extreme heat resistant. This was my fault, but I think you need to make it more clear that only the palm and fingers can safely endure extrem heat.
I got my husband this grill brush set for Father’s Day, and he loved using it the couple of times we got to use it before we experienced a garage fire that resulted in a complete loss. Amazingly, the brush and brush heads survived—even though everything else, including the grill, did not!
10/10, would recommend!
I just love this sponge brush. I’ve purchased one about a year ago and only use it to clean my grill. I have used other brushes and scrapers in the past but nothing beats this grill rescue brush. I love it. Ordered two more for my brothers!
My son in law uses the grill brush I gave him a couple years ago, but he loves the gloves and shows them to everyone !! Great gift for grilling patriotic men!!
Great sponges, they scrub nice and I love that theyre dishwasher safe. Im a little bummed that one of the two that I ordered got a hole it in after only using it a handful of times (not from the dishwasher or scrubbing something sharp; just normal use), but I still like the sponges and will probably order more down the road.
Saw many times on TV and was skeptical. Finally decided to buy it and it's amazing.. works exactly as described. Steams gunk right off my grill. Also works great on my blackstone too. And as on the TV ad can throw it into the dishwasher and cleans it up nicely for the next time. .Would highly recommend to anyone interested.
It is awesome Scraper was a little short but I just use a putty knife to scrape crude off. I like to season as you can see in the after photo. Can't wait to use on my Blackstone!!😊😁
I love it and would definitely buy again, my go too grill cleaner!
I love Grill Rescue and have bought them for all 3 of my brothers.
Once seeing it, I had to buy the whole, enthusiast pack for myself and am very happy because it has made my whole grilling experience better - easier cleanup and healthier!
It works great. Bought one for the camper grill also. Fast and easy and you don’t have to worry about poking your hand with bristles. Or leave any around or on food.
I purchased three sets of the gloves for my husband, son, and son-in-law. They loved them. They all have smokers and barbecues and knew instantly how useful they would be with outdoor cooking and the handling of hot trays and surfaces.
A hit!
I absolutely love the Grill Rescue Brush! As an EMT, I’ve seen firsthand the dangers and struggles caused by wire grill brushes, so it means a lot to me that I never have to worry about that with my own family. This brush makes cleaning the grill so easy, fast, and safe. Honestly, it’s the best grill brush I’ve ever used, and I can’t recommend it enough.
Well I was going to make my video BUT Mama bear and her 3 cubs had other plans We tried to find the handle w/the cleaning head but no luck.
I have really enjoyed using it before the bear thieves took it away.
I can say that it did clean my grill really well!!

This brush is fantastic at cleaning the grill, couldn’t be happier with how the product works. Only concern is that after about 5 uses, it started leaving these fibers behind while using it. I have to use a wet rag to clean the fibers after I clean the grill, I’m pretty sure I don’t want to be eating those on my food!
I i’ve been using this now since I got it a couple weeks ago and I just cleaned it and throw it into the dishwasher. I didn’t believe it but I do now I love it Scottsdale, Arizona.
The grill rescue does a great job of getting all of the old gunk off of the rails.
My tip to everyone is, after you have cleaned your grill and it has cooled down, leave a thin coat of oil (vegetable, olive, PAM, canola spray etc.) on your flat grill or barbecue rails, you will help minimize any rust that might form between uses and your barbecue rails especially, will last almost almost indefinitely and the barbecue will be easier to clean until the next time that you go to use it, be that tomorrow, next week or next year!
Here's another tip and it is one that SHOULD be told to you by your flat grill or barbecue grill's manufacturer, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR GRILL HAS CAST IRON RAILS. The process can also be done with your cast iron flat grill, but they tend to cool off more quickly unless you can trap the heat in for a while to slow down its cooling. The first time that you use it (or later if it has never been done before), take an afternoon and "season" or "condition" the cast iron (just like you would need to do with a cast iron frying pan before it's first use) it's a simple, one afternoon job that you will only need to monitor the process occasionally. It involves coating the surface with a light coat of any of the oils mentioned above, (although canola oil seems to with best) and putting them into your 500 degree grill for about 1/2 hour with the grill lid closed and slowly, with the lid still closed, cooling them down, then wiping them off with a clean cloth re-oiling lightly and repeating the whole process 3 or 4 more times. This will physically bond the oil molecules into the cast iron's pores then, unless you overwash them in the future (think chemical grill cleaners or even soap) in which case you will need to "season" again, you should never have to repeat the process throughout the (now extended) life of the grill. You can find the entire process laid out through a search on "Genesis", "CoPilot", "ChatGPT", or even "Google".
Just some wisdom from a 73 year old barbequing veteran.
Love it and will buy more for my 4 kids for Christmas so we need a deal. Just kidding . As a retired cop I wanted to say thank you for your service stay safe Steve
They do a great job cleaning the grill, but don’t come as clean in the dish washer as you claim. i usually use them once and then into the dish washer….
This is a great product. I’ve tried everything else on the market for cleaning my grill and never have been satisfied with their cleaning results. The grill looks like new every time I use the Grill Rescue brush. I wish they were available years ago.
Really didn't think it would clean all that well, but I was looking for something that was not a wire brush. I have tried the onion method and it works okay. I had gotten to where I just had not cleaned my grate very often unless I was taken apart the pellet grill to clean out the ash. This brush has cleaned a lot better and is a lot tougher than I thought it would be. Works really good and I foresee using this for a long time.
